I really enjoyed the ease of the process and how much was done in a Signature facial. Faith S was great, she was very gentle with her hand movements, which put a newbie at ease and informed me of each step in a soft voice, which allowed me to follow along and know what was next, but also to stay relaxed.

As a licensed esthetician I can *technically* take care of my own skin, but there's nothing like having someone else pamper, analyze, and realllly get down in your pores in a way you just can't on your own. I arrived at 8 AM and was greeted by the beautiful Chloe, who ended up being my facialist for the day. She was absolutely incredible. I don't have a single complaint. She walked me through every step of the treatment, telling me what she was doing before she did it, including when to expect any tingling or irritation. Even the extractions, which are usually the part I brace for, she handled gently while still getting the job done. Effective and efficient without ever feeling rushed. She also sent me out with real guidance. Which products to use, which ones to leave alone, and how to care for my skin over the next week. That's the kind of thing you don't always get. Here's my honest take. Plenty of places will add a facial to their service menu. This is a place that does facials, and you can feel that difference on your skin. I highly recommend The Only Facial in North Dallas, and I highly recommend Chloe specifically. Tell her I sent you. I'll definitely be back.

Visited this spot last week for the first time. Alex was my esthetician and she was absolutely wonderful. She explained everything, customized my facial for my skin and followed up with me after the facial. My skin has never felt so smooth. I’ve already booked my next appointment. Wait a minute...So, you are telling me there is a place that provides facials that doesn't try to sell me yet another line of products I probably will never use? Also, has tip already included in the price of the service? Yes, that place exists! But wait, they are going to try to talk me into some subscription right? Absolutely not! This place is exactly as advertised, and they cover all of the bases. Have some Billy goat hairs? They will dermaplane 'em. Face texture more uneven than a Texas highway? They have some microdermabrasion for you. Just need to relax? They will give you a nice face massage. Read about their 11 step process. They really take care of it all. The atmosphere is so cute and light. The aesthetician consults with you to address your skin concerns and makes a facial just for you. They even gave me a small aftercare pack with instructions so I know what to do. How easy is that? I've already booked my next appointment. Endorse this place 1000%

FAQs

Will visiting The Only Facial cause me to breakout?

The Only Facial provides an exfoliation and detox for your skin. On rare occasion, it may stimulate a post-treatment breakout. As part of your facial, we will use a high frequency wand to control bacteria and decrease inflammation. If you have any post-treatment breakouts you can stop by to have the area treated again at no charge.

Will vellus hair removal cause my hair to regrow in a coarse and stubbly fashion?

Some people believe shaving hair causes it to grow back thicker and darker, but this is not the case! Initially re-growth after removal may feel slightly different because the hair has been cut straight across.

After the vellus hairs are removed for the first time your skin will feel much smoother, and when the hair grows back you may be more likely to notice it (even though it was there before). When your skin is smooth, your products can more easily penetrate your skin and your make-up will go on better!

How often do I need The Only Facial?

Did you know that our skin produces new cells every month? New skin cells travel from the lowest layer of your epidermis to the top layer, where they shed off to reveal healthier, younger, ‘glowing’ skin. The problem? As you age, your skin cell renewal slows down, and you begin to build up dead skin. Dead skin = dull skin.

When you come see us you can expect an intense exfoliation and detox for your skin, getting rid of dead skin, and stimulating your cell turnover rate with regular sessions to keep it turning over on an ideal 4-6 week cycle.

Come see us every 4 to 6 weeks for best results towards continued improvement in the health and appearance of your skin!

Why does my skin seem dry after my facial?

It’s completely normal to experience a bit of dryness after your facial. During our sessions, we accelerate your cellular turnover rate and slough off dead skin to reveal the new, healthy skin underneath. As a result, you may experience 3-5 days of dryness and mild flaking, which is completely normal! If you have dryness and/or flakiness, use a natural oil for hydration until the barrier function is restored.

As your skin gets used to The Only Facial your recovery process will decrease due to the health of your skin increasing!

Can I bring my children with me to my appointment?

Please note that children are not permitted at your appointment. We kindly ask that you make arrangements for childcare prior to your visit. Thank you for your understanding.
